The premier blend of Coffee Jones – a true Italian-style espresso

This is a blend of five medium and dark-roasted single-source coffees carefully selected and balanced to produce the quintessential shot of espresso.  It is smooth, deep, rich, and never bitter (when properly extracted).  What sets this blend apart – and what makes it a true Italian-style espresso – is the inclusion of the world’s finest robusta beans*.  The tremendous amount of oils contained in robustas created an unbelievably luxuriant, golden crema thick enough to stand up to a demitasse spoon.  Despite the gourmet coffee industry’s best attempts to prove otherwise, this prized crema simply cannot be duplicated with a blend using 100% Arabica beans.

**For that get-you-up-in-the-morning feeling or to revive you during the day, robusta beans contain four times the caffeine of Arabica beans. With the percentage of robustas in our Italiano blend, this translates to approximately 40% more caffeine than in a straight Arabica blend.
