Kenya began cultivating coffee in the late nineteenth century.
Now, under strict government supervision, over two million bags
of wet-processed Arabicas are produced annually. Grown
on the slopes of Mt. Elgon in western Kenya, the Kenya AA is
without a doubt the most recognized coffee from Africa. It
is a bold, complex, winey coffee, with light floral tones and
an intense, deep, bittersweet chocolate flavor. The Kenya
AA has a medium body and a brisk sparkle to the finish. The
best highlight the bright aspects of this coffee, the Kenya should
have a light- to medium-roast.
